To whom this may concern,
Saw the big band concert tonight and sat in the center half way back. The sound system was very inadequate for the application that was needed. I walked up to where the sound board was located and realized all was well in that location. From what I could determine there needed to be at least 2 more speaker “banks” and the “throw” needed to project to the mid and back portions of the seating areas. Since the layout is on an upward incline it is imperative that the speaker configuration allows for projection that would include the entire area Please consider expanding the speaker banks and allowing the sound engineer the needed resources to do adequately do his job. Thank you for hosting this most entertaining event and please make the necessary changes to insure the future success of this event. Thank you.

I love coming to jazz on the green but people with kids playing ball, frisbee, etc is making the experience bad. They have no respect for those around them and should not be allowed to be out there playing sports on jazz on the green. They are not at a park. People with pets not on a leash, this is not a dog park.
For years it has been so nice to get off work and come down there to sip some wine, listen to good music, and relax. I’m starting to look at other options because jazz on the green is going downhill.

Omaha would REALLY like, more diversity of singers, and more singers to come to the event….Also their needs to be more respect, for the people thats their to hear the jazz music, relax with their glass of wine and their company…Theirs to many parents thats playing baseball, frisbee, wrestling with their kids and dogs…also they needs to pickup behind their animals….Seems like their would be a better way of handling the situation. theirs to many distractions.. This is suppose to be ….jazz on the green .. so that everyone can have fun and enjoy themselves..

My wife and I have enjoyed Jazz on the Green for years. We were afarid when going from Joslyn to MidTown would break it. The event has developed to be even better in its own right. As a native of Omaha it is very exciting to feel such a neat presence
and culture at the events to make Omaha Proud.

I really enjoyed all of the concerts, but my favorites were Mike Gurciullo and his Las Vegas Lab Band and Joseph Vincelli Quartet. I hope that these bands will be back at Jazz on the Green Next Year. They were awesome! If possible, maybe the number of concerts could be increased in number from 6 to 8.
